The project deals with a new complex of a hippotherapy centre containing an indoor riding hall, an outdoor riding area, the paddock and premises of the restaurant, rehabilitation areas and guest rooms. The concept is formed by three principles: The first is the location of the building in a rural area. That inspired the fundamental shape as a two-storey building with a sloping roof, which are typical characteristics for such location.
The second principle is to integrate an atrium into the design. The idea came from the thought of creating meeting and relaxing areas for the visitors. Hence, two separated atriums were designed: the first one welcoming arriving visitors and the second, more private one, with a view of the paddock. The third principle is a distinct element made of vertical windows continuing uninterrupted onto the roof surface.
